Updated overflight report

Have you ever overlooked a permit that led to a delay or cancellation of your flight? RocketRoute will help you not to miss any permit again. Use the new and improved overflight report to keep you on schedule and your clients happy.

What is it about?

Flying beyond Europe and North America almost always means there are more factors to consider when planning a flight. An example of this is overflight and landing permits. Couple these requirements with the fact that many Country and FIR boundaries are not aligned and a confusing picture of what permits are required for a flight can arise.

The new RocketRoute Overflight report makes things clear. You are welcome to check our modernized report and send feedback, if any.

How it looks?

In the main table it shows the country and FIR borders to be flown over, in order from ADEP to ADES.  Then in two separate tables, it gives a clear list of countries and FIRs.

The marked fields in this example show the entry/exit waypoint - where a country has been left and another entered. The same is for FIR boundary.

The following table shows the overflown FIR boundaries, time spent in a sector and distance within a sector.

And the last table shows the countries that have been overflown in a flight, also time and distance flown within a sector. If you see a 'multiple crossing' label, this means that a country has been crossed multiple times. In the corresponding columns the total time and distance within a country are shown.

A good example of the importance of the detailed overflight report is DRRR FIR boundary - it covers 4 countries!
