The latest updates to RocketRoute FlightPlan are designed to improve route modification workflows and streamline the user experience for easier visualization across windows.
Here’s What's New in RocketRoute FlightPlan 7.10.1:
- Flight Details Advisories Tile: Stay informed with the latest advisories directly within the Flight Details screen. For Draft, Active, and Historic flights, simply tap on the Advisories tile to access a dedicated window displaying relevant information tailored to your specific flight. Stay updated on weather conditions, NOTAMs, and other relevant advisories without leaving the Flight Details screen and reduce the need to navigate between multiple screens.
- Offline Advisories Access: Stay informed even when you're offline. iPreFlight Genesis PRO now allows you to view the latest Advisories for your flight, even when you're not connected to the internet. Once you re-establish a connection, your Advisories will be automatically updated for both Draft and Active flights, ensuring you have the most current information available.
- Historic Flight Advisories: FlightPlan 7.10.1 now preserves the last received advisories for all your flights. This allows you to still access and review the weather advisories, NOTAMs, and other relevant information that was applicable at the time. This valuable for pilots who need to refer back to past flight data for training, analysis, or documentation purposes. It provides a comprehensive record of the conditions you encountered during your flights, helping you to identify trends, improve your flying techniques, and stay informed about potential hazards.
- Final Check Popup: To access the Final Check popup, simply tap the "File" button on the Map screen. This popup now includes a dedicated Advisories section, providing you with a comprehensive overview of any relevant advisories or alerts for your flight. If the Advisories section IS LONG, you can easily scroll through it for better navigation. This new feature simplifies the pre-flight review process and helps ensure you're informed about all potential weather conditions, NOTAMs, and other relevant information before taking off.
