RocketRoute Enables Single Engine Emergency Operations

Guildford, UK, 18th May 2015 - RocketRoute today announces immediate availability of Flight Planning for Single Engine Emergency Operations at the EBACE 2015 European Business Aviation Exhibition in Geneva.

Innovative airlines and operators in Europe are looking to take advantage of the lower operating costs and ability to fly into smaller airports by using single engine turbo propeller aircraft. RocketRoute now enables such flights to be planned meeting the current European Safety requirements for SEOPS.

RocketRoute has developed this new feature in collaboration with Hendell Aviation and FLY7 which operates PC12s and was Europe's first commercial (AOC) SE-IMC operator since 2013. Also with FlyEasy who support Hendell Aviation and FLY7. RocketRoute is currently adding Drift Down performance to its full database of single engine turbo propellor aircraft.

Uwe Nitsche, CEO and Co-Founder of RocketRoute said “This is a great safety feature for any pilot or operator flying a Single Engine aircraft and wanting to analyze the safety aspects of the route and to select Enroute Alternates.”
