In this article we will tell you about our Concierge customers - Rallye Aero France and their adventurous trip.
Jan-Michel Collineau organised the Rallye Aero France not for the first time. Last year the itinerary went through Sardinia - Sicily - Apulia - Peloponnese. More details about that trip can be found here.
This year, the route has been planned over the following countries: Italy - Slovenia - Croatia - Serbia - Bulgaria - Turkey - Georgia - Romania - Hungary - Austria - Germany - France. The trip lasted from 16 June till 3d July.
45 participants visited 12 countries, flew various aircraft, at different flight levels, conditions and speeds, but everybody received a lot of positive emotions and experience. It also related to the RocketRoute's Concierge support.
"We have used RocketRoute for Rallye Aero France and we are really happy with it. Actually, we are clients of RocketRoute for near 10 years. Patrice and me, we use Rocketroute for flight planning and never had any issues with it. We are happy with RocketRoute and have discovered Concierge service during Rallye this year, which we will definitely use in case of need.Bravo to Rocketroute, we continue with you!" - commented Betty Celicout, the only female pilot of Rally Aero France 2018, after the trip finished.
This time RR supported the Rally Aero France not only remotely from the office but also provided onboard support in person of RocketRoute Flight Operations and Concierge Specialist - Safi.
She has proved the expediency of such an event by finding the overnight stay accommodations for the group of 45 pilots. Together with the RR Concierge team, she has found one hotel to accommodate all the pilots, 11 taxis to get everyone there. Rallye guys were contented to have RR OPS Specialist on board.
"I can say that I've had a possibility to value the efficiency and simplicity of Rocketroute, that is both good for flight planning, rerouting if needed, and for Concierge service, as in Niš, where the team found us the hotel so fast, that everyone couldn't believe it", - said Alain Morelle, one of Rallye Aero France pilots.
Crossing the Bosporus had brought pilots some anxiety due to adventures with ATC, but everybody crossed the channel smoothly and landed safely. The ATC didn't respond for 3 times and replied only on 4th when the group has already been above the channel. Fortunately, everything went well further that day.
Have a look at the beauty of Bosporus and Istanbul:
Safi described these two gentlemen as following 'Philippe is a pilot who lands a plane with smooth skill and Alain is the best at communicating with ATC'.
