Recently implemented into RocketRoute FlightPlan, users now have the option to see in the briefing pack, the wind charts for 2 flight levels above and below the cruising altitude.
View the charts for 2 flight levels above the highest cruising level and 2 flight levels below. The shown Flight levels are based on a hemispherical rule (if cruising FL is even additional charts for flight levels above and below also are even, the same for odd flight levels).
The feature is available for all Business memberships owners.
How to activate the Prognostic Charts
This feature is activated under the Aircraft settings.
Go to MORE - AIRCRAFT - Briefing Pack Contents.
Put a tick in front of the field called "Add +/- 2FL to wind charts".
Briefing Pack Contents section in the Aircraft Settings. Activate the Prognostic Charts here.
How the Prognostic Charts look in the Briefing Pack
When a pilot chooses the option to add 2 flight levels below and above to the original flight level, the system generates a briefing pack with 5 winds charts in a row. Giving the pilot immediate visibility of wind strength and direction.
