RocketRoute is unique in the General Aviation market providing a full time operations team to support our members.
RocketRoute is a self-service solution, but we realise there are times when you just need an extra pair of hands and we can be there for you.
Example Support Provided
We asked our team to list recent requests they have helped members with. Below are a short list of examples:
- Delay a flight plan when the pilot does not have an internet signal but can make a phone call.
- Take a flight plan over the phone and file it when the pilot cannot do it online themselves.
- Assist in closing a flight plan if the pilot is unsure the plan was closed by the tower.
- Assist in building a route when AutoRouter cannot solve some conflicting RAD restrictions.
- Assist towers and Eurocontrol when they are unable to reach the pilot directly.
- Assist in user questions and queries using RocketRoute.
- Help research airport information, e.g. find a service engineer for a flat tyre.
Profile of our Team
To be part of our Operations team, staff need to be quick thinkers, level headed under pressure and have good communication skills. We currently are running an education programme with RocketRoute to bring all staff members up to the level of having completed the NBAA Dispatchers qualification.

Meet Yevhen Didkovsky
Yevhen is one of our experienced ops team and is currently working to complete his NBAA Dispatchers Qualification.
Yevhen completed a Bachelor degree in Business Studies has travelled to over 20 countries in the last 5 years including Canada and the US.
Outside of work Yevhen is passionate about sports such as snowboarding, biking and hiking. Yevhen is also interested visiting new countries and learning about their cultures.
