RocketRoute is proud to announce a major update that makes it easier to manage Eurocontrol route restrictions.
Our aim is to offer a valid route every time, in just a few clicks. In the real-world we understand that we have to do more to help our users when this does not happen.
Now, all route restriction errors are displayed in one place and can be kept on the screen while ongoing route adjustments are made. The error list can be refreshed without losing your place in the flight planning workflow. See picture 1 below.
Picture 1. New 'Route Validation Results' window
A new 'VIEW RESULTS' link is now shown where the EuroControl error list used to be displayed. See picture 2.
Picture 2. Location of the 'VIEW RESULTS' link
Clicking the link opens the new 'Route Validation Results' window which is overlaid on the map. You may move and resize the window as desired.
Also, the RAD (Route Availability Document) is shown in the 'Route Validation Results' pop-up, which makes it easier to avoid a restricted zone. Picture 3.

- Flight Plan changes can be made without closing the 'Route Validation Results' pop-up.
- Any of the 'Route Validation Results' content can be copied and pasted.
- Clicking the Validate button does not close the 'Route Validation Results' window.
- 'Route Validation Results' will be refreshed automatically if any new validation errors occur.
- If all errors are corrected, the popup will automatically close.
- The same logic applies if the Autoroute button is used.
- The 'Route Validation Results' will correspond to the specific route in a specific tab.
