We would like to announce upcoming improvements to the functionality of the current RocketRoute FlightPlan system. These will help you manage your flights even more easily.
As always, RocketRoute is delighted to receive your feedback
This new feature gives dispatchers in a group account access to view and edit all flight plans, including active/filed flight plans and draft/historic flights. In other words, if your role is a dispatcher, then you will be able to edit any flight plan in the group account. The creator of a flight plan (owner) can edit his own flight plan as well.
Select a flight from the Flights list and click on the 'EDIT ' button. The system will then allow you to edit the current flight plan.
Please note, after you have pressed EDIT, all subsequent changes will be saved for this particular flight. No copy will be created and it will not be possible to restore the previous version.
If your user role is Junior Dispatcher, Super Crew, Senior Crew, Crew, Flight Crew, Instructor, Student or you are not the owner of the flight plan the ‘EDIT’ button will not be available to you. You will be able to access the 'COPY' or 'REUSE' functions, which will duplicate the flight plan. In the duplicated flight plan you will easily be able to make changes and they will be saved as a new Plan.
You may now increase your work productivity by creating multiple flight plans at the same time. To use this feature, simply open or create two or more flight plans in separate tabs.
To avoid confusion make sure that you are the only person working on a flight plan while creating or making changes in it.
