FlightBoard Dispatch Mode

Dispatch Mode: Another enhancement to Rocketroute FlightBoard. A desktop mode that combines the benefits of both the 'Flights List' and the 'Flights Map' views onto a single screen. Dispatchers, flight followers, FBO's can now access all the functionality of the FlightBoard within one screen, freeing up valuable monitor space.

'Flights List' Mode

'Flights List' Mode ensures the following information is depicted on screen:

  • Operators logo
  • Flight number
  • Aircraft tail number
  • Aircraft type
  • Flight type
  • Airport of departure
  • Airport of destination
  • Estimated Off Block Time (EOBT)
  • Delay (in minutes)
  • Calculated/Actual Take-Off Time (C/ATOT)

Example of 'Flights List' Mode.

A filter can be used to customize the 'Flights List' screen. For example, the filter can help to single out flights using the following criteria:

  • Airport Pair
  • Current flights only (or a set date range)
  • Departure or Arrival or Both
  • Airport(s)
  • Operator ID(s)
  • Flight Type(s)
  • Status(es)
  • Flight Number(s)
  • Aircraft ICAO Type(s)
  • Aircraft ID(s)

Example of the filter panel on the right. 'Airport' filter is applied.

'Flights Map' Mode

All flights present on the Flights List screen are also present on the Flights Map screen. The aircraft icon colour displays the status of the flight.

  • Blue - Airborne
  • Green - Filed
  • Light green - Active
  • Green with yellow or red glow - Filed Regulated (i.e. SLOT issued)
  • Red - Cancelled
  • Black - Landed / Closed

When an aircraft icon is clicked where appropriate the filed route and the actual flown route is shown.

Dispatch Mode: 'Dispatch Flights' View

On the 'Dispatch Flights' screen the two above mentioned screens are combined - the Flights List and Flights Map. This ensures a simultaneous view of the followed flights. The two screens are always synchronized.

Dispatch Mode: 'Dispatch Fleet' Mode

This screen depicts all flights of a particular aircraft or a fleet of aircraft, regardless of their statuses - whether cancelled, airborne, active, filed, or landed.
