Interactive NOTAMs Layer

Notice to Airmen, or NOTAMs, are essential pieces of information that pilots must be aware of before and during their flights. RocketRoute's interactive NOTAMs layer provides several benefits for pilots, including enhanced situational awareness, improved efficiency, and increased safety. The visual representation of NOTAMs on a map allows pilots to quickly understand the context of the information and make informed decisions about their flight path. Furthermore, certain types of NOTAMs can be suppressed to de-clutter the map, and the layer is available offline and auto-updating.

Overall, the interactive NOTAMs layer is a valuable tool for pilots to better manage the impact of temporary changes or hazards on their flight operations.

Integrated Weather Information

Weather is one of the most significant factors that can affect flight safety. RocketRoute's weather layer provides pilots with a visual representation of weather on a map, allowing them to identify potential weather hazards and plan their flights quickly. The layer also helps pilots make better decisions about fuel reserves, diversions, and alternate airports, leading to more efficient flight planning. Additionally, pilots can use the on-map weather layer to adjust their flight plans to avoid bad weather areas, resulting in safer and more efficient flights.

Waypoint Rubber Banding

RocketRoute's waypoint rubber banding feature allows pilots to adjust their flight routes quickly and easily, making on-the-fly adjustments as conditions change. Pilots can fine-tune their flight plans to optimize for factors such as wind conditions, fuel consumption, and flight time, leading to more efficient flights. Furthermore, rubber banding can be used to avoid unexpected weather conditions or airspace restrictions, resulting in safer and more efficient operations.

Real-Time Route Guidance

RocketRoute's route guidance feature provides pilots with critical information to fly safely and efficiently. The feature enhances situational awareness by offering a clear visual representation of the flight plan on a map. It also helps pilots maintain on-track accuracy, improves navigation, and saves time by providing accurate time, distance, and bearing information to reach the next waypoint. Ultimately, the route guidance feature helps pilots arrive at their destination on time and safely.

Off-track guidance provides time, bearing and distance to the next waypoint.

Integrated with DCT functionality to give the pilot route guidance information beyond their DCT point

Route Segment Information

In addition to improving situational awareness, enhancing efficiency, and streamlining communication, the route segment information feature in RocketRoute flight planning also provides pilots with a more comprehensive understanding of their flight plan. By visualizing their route on a map with detailed information about each segment, pilots can identify potential hazards, such as areas of high traffic density or weather conditions that may require a diversion. This feature also allows pilots to easily modify their flight plan on the fly if unexpected situations arise, improving their flight's overall safety and success.

Easily turn on or off the route segment information from the map settings.

When enabled, the route segment information will provide bearing, distance and time for each leg of the pilot’s route.

RocketRoute's interactive NOTAMs layer, weather information, on-map planning tools, and route guidance feature are just a few examples of how RocketRoute continues to improve flight operations for pilots and helps pilots fly more safely and efficiently by providing critical information in a visual and interactive format.
