Socata TBM850
The Socata TBM 850 is a high-performance single-engine aircraft designed to give pilots the advantages of the cruising speeds typical of a light jet, but with the more economical operating costs of a single-engine turboprop. It replaced the earlier TBM 700 in 2006. It is the world’s fastest single-engine turboprop with a maximum cruise speed of 320 KTAS at 26,000 ft. When suitably equipped, the TBM 850 meets Reduced Vertical Separation Minima standards allowing operation in RVSM airspace.
